Registered nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families.A registered nurse’s primary role is to ensure every patient receives the direct and proper care they need. RNs assess and identify patients’ needs, then implement and monitor the patient’s medical plan and treatment.
