Job Description
Saunders Staffing is recruiting for an accounting tech in the Charleston area. Accounting degree not required, bur experience of four years is required.Under general supervision, performs advanced accounting support duties. Posting complex journal entries that require the use of specialized accounting procedures, assisting the supervisor in preparing agency budgets, and examining records to assure adherence to accounting laws and regulations performs related work as required.Classifies codes a variety of transactions which may require considerable knowledge.Transfers funds and balances multiple accounts such as hospital billingprepares and illustrates specialized statements and reports which reflect the relationships among accounts and which require steady searching and analysis.Knowledge and skillsKnowledge of accounting laws and regulations of bureau/agencyknowledge of basic mathematical computations.Knowledge of an automted computer system.Skills in the use of a calculatorSkill in the use of office equipment such as a copier, fax, and personal computer.Detect and correct error in arithmeticAbility to gather and compile data for use in financial; Hours 8-:30 M-FContract until 2/14/2025To learn more about Saunders Staffing, visit our website at www.saundersstaffing.net and apply with your resume and references.Benefit packageHealthcarePaid holidayPaid each week on Friday.No fees.EOE employer
