Job Description

Job Title: Analyst Virginia Operations Reports To: Director Operations, VAO

Department: VAO Upstream Location: Claypool Hill, VA



This position will be responsible for a variety of different functions and support for the VA operations office and team. Duties will include the entire procure-to-pay life cycle including purchase orders and change notices, preparing reports for regulatory reporting, tracking, and analyzing cost(s) & data utilizing various systems and platforms. The Analyst will manage and track cost(s) to be compared to budgets per every general ledger account used by operations. This position will also support the team with gathering and organizing data/information to be used by operations.


Target Responsibilities:

Serve as a steward of the CNX Mission and Core Values (Responsibility, Ownership and Excellence).
Personally work safely and maintain a culture of safety and compliance.
Lead the VA operations with statistical data analysis to support decision making.
Collaborate with cross departments to obtain job-related data.
Assist with organizing QMS documents.
Help manage the office: order materials/supplies needed, perform general administrative duties, etc.
Procure-to-pay cycle including cutting purchase orders, change notices, troubleshooting and resolving ARIBA issues for vendors and operations support.
Cost tracking and reporting - target field costs to actuals within 2%.
Software used will include but is not limited to: ARIBA, SAP, Power Bi, Survey 123, Smartsheets, Siteview, KPA, Power Automate, Microsoft Office Professional Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
Assist with creating and tracking Key Performance Indicators for operations and other departments.
Work with and support service providers daily.
Automate reminders, deadlines, and ensure records are complete.
Prepare various reports as required by governmental and regulatory agencies - state, emission, water reports, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree or bachelor's degree is preferred.
1-3 years of oil and gas industry data management experience preferred.
Must be a highly safety-minded individual.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
Team oriented.
Must be highly motivated and a "self-starter."
Must possess advanced computer skills - Microsoft Office Professional Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
Ability to read, understand and interpret budget, financial data and operational performance data.
