Job Summary:
As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the nursing operations within our healthcare facilities. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, and driving continuous improvement in nursing practices and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in the overall management and administration of the nursing department
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance patient outcomes
- Monitor nursing staff performance and provide guidance and mentorship for professional growth
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize resource utilization
- Analyze nursing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate nursing teams
- Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic planning
- Excellent clinical and operational knowledge of nursing practices and healthcare delivery
- Certification in nursing administration or leadership is a plus
