Job Description
Certified Nurse Aide (C.N.A)
Salem, Virginia
Saunders Staffing has an opportunity for multiple CNA's in the Salem, VA. Area.
Nurse must have one year experience in long term care and be in good standing with the state of Virginia.
Duties for C.N.A:
Assist with personal care, bathing, assist with meals and general wellcare of patient.
Monitor patients and work
Report the condition of a patient back to LPN
Communicate openly and effectively with patients and families, while demonstrating compassion and friendly behavior
Supervise nursing assistants
Ensure that supplies, medications, and equipment are restocked and maintained so that they are ready to use
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients
Qualifications for C.N.A:
Have a High School Diploma/GED
Must be a graduate of an accredited CNA training program
Must have a valid CNA license in the state you are working in
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with patients and family in a respectful, warm way
Ability to demonstrate resilience in emotionally difficult situations
Comfortable with a schedule with beyond normal working hours
Position Details:
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shifts: Must be able to Work All Shifts
No Call/ No Shows will NOT be tolerated at this facility. The contract will be terminated immediately if this occurs. The Nurse must be Punctual.
