Job Description
Database AdministratorUnder general supervision, is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. Performs related work as required.Examples of Work:Design logical and physical database structures based on business requirements and industry best practicesDefine data models, schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships to ensure efficient data storage and retrievalInstall, configure, and deploy SQL Server database management systems (DBMS) Create and configure database instances, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and availabilityImport, export, and migrate data between different database environments while ensuring data integrity and consistencyMonitor database performance, health, and security to identify and address potential issues proactivelyHelp Desk SupportNature of Work:Under general supervision, is responsible for technical support to end-users, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving problems. Performs related work as required.Examples of Work:Resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripheralsGuide users through troubleshooting steps and perform remote diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issuesMaintain a knowledge base of common technical issues and their resolutions for reference by end-users and support staffConduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to promote self-service troubleshooting and enhance technical skillsAssist with user account creation, modification, and termination processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirementsInstall software updates, patches, and security fixes to address vulnerabilities and enhance system stabilityIT Service Continuity Analyst
