Job Summary:As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and well-being of individuals within our community. Reporting to the Mental Health Services department, you will deliver compassionate and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help clients manage a variety of mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using a range of therapeutic modalities- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic care for clients- Maintain detailed client records and documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment
Qualifications:- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in the state- Demonstrated experience providing mental health services to diverse populations- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal abilities- Commitment to ethical and culturally-responsive practice
