Location: Huntington, WV
Licensed Practical Nurse for Psychiatric Facility
Immediate opening for Psych LPN in Huntington, WV. This LPN will be responsible for the general care of patients at this facility in Huntington. This is a 6-month assignment (possibly an extension). The scheduled shifts are day, evening, and nights. This facility is usually flexible with your schedule and request they you be flexible also.
Responsibilities:
* Provide professional nursing to assigned patients
*Provide urgent care, med passing, behavioral medical, and ER
*Record patient history and perform other duties as assigned
Work Hours:
*Full time 40 hours per week
*Overtime possible, not guaranteed, Under extreme conditions, OT could be mandated. This is unusual but want to make you aware.
Experience:
* 1 year LPN experience Psych experience
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse license, in WV or compact license
Current BLS certification
Education Requirements
ASN or BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing
Industry Long term Care, Psych, skilled nursing
Employment Type Contract/Temporary-Full time
