Location:Pittsburgh PA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this temporary role, you will provide essential nursing care and support to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to meet the needs of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine nursing tasks and procedures, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress
- Assist with the implementation of patient care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all relevant protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Current, valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
