Location: In Beckley WV
Job Summary:
As a Medical Coding - Billing - Typing Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are vital to the smooth operation of our medical office. Your primary duties will include medical coding, billing, data entry, typing, and general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medical coding and billing for patient records and insurance claims
- Accurately enter patient data and medical information into our systems
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and organizing documents
- Provide general secretarial and clerical support as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in medical coding and billing practices
- Excellent typing and data entry skills, with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
This position is based in a professional office environment, with standard working hours. The role may require occasional light lifting and extended periods of sitting while using a computer.
