Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to patients within our county's healthcare facilities. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient-centered care, collaborating with the medical team, and promoting positive health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' health status, vital signs, and progress
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and self-care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
- Assist with the coordination of patient transfers, discharges, and referrals as needed
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems and medical technology
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing patient care needs
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary, full-time Registered Nurse position within our county's healthcare facilities. The work schedule may include a combination of day, evening, and weekend shifts to provide continuous patient care. The role may require standing for extended periods, lifting and moving patients, and exposure to various medical environments and equipment.
