Registered Nurse, Terra Alta, WVSaunders Staffing is seeking psych RN’s in Terra Alta, WV. The RN with psych experience will have duties for the general care of patients at the facility in Terra Alta. The opportunity is a six month assignment (with a strong possibility of an extension and renewal if desired). There are day, evening, and night shifts available currently. Nurses are asked to be flexible with availability. The facility is usually flexible with schedule, but there is a possibility for the need to work other shifts now and again. Requirements: Must be licensed by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses and have no record of prior or pending disciplinary action against him or her by the licensure body or agency. At least one year of Acute Psychiatric nursing experience. Work hours: Full time 40 hours per week Overtime is possible, but not guaranteed. Under extreme conditions, OT could be mandated. This is rare, but it could happen. Rates are based on shifts worked; days worked and experience. There are shift differentials Responsibilities: Professional nursing to assigned patients is provided. Experience: 1 year of ACUTE psychiatric nursing experience required Preferred Qualifications: Registered Nurse License in WV or compact license; Current BLS certification. Education requirements: ASN or BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing; Industry Healthcare; Long Term Care, Psych, skilled nursing.
